Sitting in the stunning Somerset countryside, Lower Hedge Cottage is close to Glastonbury, which besides the annual Festival is famous for its abbey ruins and spiritual identity. Longleat safari park is another popular attraction, where you can spend the day driving amongst lions and rhinos. For the architecturally-minded, Wells (the smallest city in England) has a must-see cathedral.

There is a farm shop and cafe 10 mins walk from the house and Tescos is a mere 5 min drive.

The world heritage site of Bath is just half an hour away, and is definitely worth a visit. Attractions include its Georgian buildings, shopping, Abbey or pump rooms and naturally heated spa baths. The SS Great Britain in Bristol and its various museums and art galleries also make a great day out. Other attractions include the Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole caves, Fleet Air Arm Museum and Haynes Motor museum.

Originally an old farmer’s cottage, the house was renovated and refurbished from head to toe using the very best materials and furnishings to create unique, stylish rooms. The open plan master bedroom has a roll top bath, and the chic 'Green room' boasts bi-folding doors opening out to the magnificent views. There is a hot tub and garden.

We understand the importance of having a good kitchen when on holiday, so you’ll appreciate the quality of ours with features such as the bespoke butchers block, retro Smeg fridge/freezer, Laura Ashley kitchen table and of course cupboards stacked with useful appliances.

The area and rolling hills surrounding the house are perfect for country walks, with or without a four legged friend - ideal for just enough exercise to justify a long soak in a massaging hot tub with that well-earned glass of wine. If you still have any energy left, playing the Nintendo Wii should wear you out before collapsing into the plush comfy sofas in front of the wood burner and 42" TV.
