This is a traditional Edinburgh property that has been modernised and is fully equipped to provide everything for a comfortable stay. There is superfast broadband and free WIFI in all rooms. Built in the early 1900's, we have kept the traditional features from that time such as lovely cornicing and the traditional tiled fireplace. Fixtures and fitting are in keeping with the character though modern conveniences are all provided. The kitchen and bathroom have been newly refurbished to a high standard. There are two bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and the other with a double bed. Both beds were chosen specifically for comfort. A double sofa-bed in the sitting room provides for two additional guests. The flat is cosy and has a lovely gas fireplace which gives the living room a homely, warm feel. The kitchen is well-equipped and should have everything that guests should need, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Bring your favourite capsules to enjoy coffee as you like it. A travel cot and high chair can be provided on request. My aim is to provide a comfortable, homely apartment that is affordable and good value, with easy access to the city centre for convenience and enjoyment.
The apartment is in Shandon, about 1 mile from Haymarket Station. It is convenient for Murrayfield, EICC, Boroughmuir, George Watson's school and on the bus route between Edinburgh airport and the Royal Mile. There are concenience stores about 2 minutes away (walking) and a large 24 hour supermarket approx 1 mile away. There is a large public park about 3 minutes away as well as easy access to the Union Canal and Water of Leith which have lovely paths for walking, cycling, jogging.
There is free parking in the streets and usually no problem finding parking within a short walking distance. The bus service into Princen Street, the West End, Grassmarket and Royal Mile is excellent (every 10 minutes) and runs all day as well as overnight (every half-hour after midnight). The area is safe and the streets well-lit.

The property is in a quiet location with access to lovely walks and a park. The Royal Highland showground is about 15 minutes drive from the apartment (7 miles) or can be easily reached by pulic transport, with the busstop being less than 5 minutes walk. The apartment is also convenient for Murrayfield and the EICC.
The two bedrooms have a king-size bed and a double bed respectively. There is also a double sofabed in the living room. All bed linen and towels are provided. Our aim is to provide a comfortable, welcoming apartment that is good value.
