Area wines Barolo & Barbaresco, luxury

3 bedrooms. Sleeps 8. From £230 per night

Cascina Bricchetto Langhe is located at the peak of a hill about 10 km from Alba, "capital of the Langhe" and 3 km from the village of Barbaresco.

The farmhouse is in stone and was built in 1700, the recent conservative restructuring carried out by us has kept the original structure by inserting modern comfort.

The house presents the ancient typical "vaults" brick, spread over two floors, with fireplace and balcony.
From the windows (numerous and large) you can enjoy a beautiful panorama: waves of hills with typical apex countries come to the Alps.

Guests have at their disposal: garden with tables, chairs, armchairs,barbecue, covered terraces, garage, various toys for the children e.g. swings, sandpit, rocking horse, skittles, free Internet access is indoor and outdoor of the house.

The farmhouse can be found at Trezzo Tinella (Cn) about 10 Km from Alba and 3 km about Barbaresco. It is a traditional Le langhe stone farmhouse, that is probably the oldest in the county, warm in winter and fresh in the summer. It is situated at the top of a hill surrounded by vines and hazelnut groves, at an altitude of about 550 meters.
The view is awesome; a sequnce of hills overlooked by the Monviso and the Monte Rosa massif. The hills are covered by precious vineyards and hazel groves.
Should you like to enjoy not only the beauty and peace of the Cascina, but also the most striking artistic and historical expressions of the area, just a few kilometers away you can reach the reknowned Castles of Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Govone, Alfieri, Novello, Verduno, etc.
The town of Alba with its medieval towers, the old arcades, and the museums, is about 10 Km far. Regarded as the "capital of the Langhe", the town hosts very famous events, such as:

Vinum – presentation and tasting of the wines of the area, and of the most typical local products” (Spring);

“Market-exhibition of the white truffle of the Langhe and the Roero”, joyned by a sequence of events both cultural and enogastronomical.

Each bedroom is luminous with windows and French windows leading on to a long balcony. From the balcony the guests can enjoy the view from two sides of the farm. One overlooking the ’wave of hills’ with the back drop of the Maritime Alps and Cozie Alps dominated by Argentera and Monviso and the other side overlooking the lawn, a traditional stone building and a stone covered terrace.
