There is stabling available by separate arrangement.
The cottage is a self-contained ground floor annexe to the farm house, with a private entrance. The sitting room has 2 large sofas and wood burner, ideal for curling up in front of on cold winter evenings. For the warmer summer months, there is direct access from the sitting room to a decking area overlooking the garden to the cottage. The dining area is at one end of the sitting room, just next to the nicely presented and well equipped kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, washing machine, ceramic hob, oven and microwave.
There are 2 bedrooms. The first is a double bedroom, overlooking the rear garden. The other is a twin bedroom and is accessed from the sitting room. There is a stylish family bathroom which has a bath with shower attachment over. There is plenty of parking on a large gravelled driveway, which has gated access.
Within a short distance is the rolling countryside of the South Downs. An idyllic location for walkers and riders, this area of the south of England has some of the best weather in the country, on average getting more sunshine than anywhere else in the England. A short drive to the east is the historic city of Chichester, the skyline of which is dominated by its famous and imposing cathedral. The world renowned Chichester Festival Theatre attracts both actors and audiences from far and wide and the city centre itself offers a great selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. To the west, the city of Portsmouth offers wonderful attractions including the Historic Naval Dockyards and the impressive Spinnaker Tower. There is also very good shopping to be had at the Gunwharf Quays shopping and leisure development.
Other local places of interest include attractions such as the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, Arundel Castle and the Roman Palace at nearby Fishbourne. West Mount Farm is also very well located for both the horse racing and world famous motor racing event held at Goodwood, which include Glorious Goodwood, the Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival.
