This holiday rental cottage is located in the picturesque village of Abbots Morton, one of Worcestershire’s oldest, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Local attractions include Ragley Hall - seat of the Marquis of Hertford whose 19th-century ancestor, the fourth Marquis and his natural son, Sir Richard Wallace, founded the magnificent Wallace Collection in London, Coughton Court - one of the country’s great Tudor houses, home of the Throckmorton family since 1409 and its implication with the Gunpowder Plot, the medieval Kinwarton Dovecot - still housing doves in its circular walls, plus many other notable country houses and beautiful gardens.
Stratford-upon-Avon, Worcester, Malvern, Warwick, Birmingham, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds are an easy drive. Numerous lovely walks, golf, fishing, clay shooting and riding available locally. Shop 2 miles, pubs 1½ miles.
