There is plenty of space for families with a walled patio garden for children to play in and for everyone to enjoy alfreco eating in the summer. Henley on Thames is a busy market town which comes to life in the summer with the famous Henley Regatta. There are festivals from July through to September which include a literary festival, a comedy fringe festival and the ever more popular '80's music festival to name a few.
There are heaps of great pubs and restaurants on the door step and the Chilterns with their picture perfect English villages are a short drive (or cycle!) away.
Henley is home to one of the oldest theatres in England and has a great independant cinema showing the latest movies if you're looking for entertainment.
The River Thames runs through the town and there are amazing walks in either direction, it's the most picturesque stretch of the river and was inspiration for The Wind in the Willows stories. A museum dedicated to these tales is located in a fantastic contemporary building on the river...with a great cafe for tea and cakes.
The house has been beautifully deisgned to offer contemporay living in a character Georgian property. Laid out over 4 floors, there is a master bedroom suite on the top floor with plenty of wardrobe space and a master bathroom. Below is a guest bedroom with a double bed and a second reception which doubles as a third bedroom with double sofa bed.
