This self catering holiday rental apartment is an ideal base for exploring Edinburgh with all the major city centre attractions within easy reach. The accommodation in this apartment consists of two double bedrooms and a single bedroom, suitable for 5 guests and the living room a sofabed which will sleep a further two guests. Please note if required 2 single beds as opposed to a double can be provided for one of the double rooms.The spacious living room provides a comfortable seating area. There is a TV with DVD player and freeview and WiFi internet access for guests who require and a dining area which can seat four. Further seating available if required. The modern, well equipped kitchen features hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, bath and electric shower. There is central heating and double glazing throughout the apartment, ensuring a cosy stay in the heart of Scotland's capital.

There is a large supermarket (open until 10pm) just across the road and Easter Road has a provides a good selection of restaurants, take-away shops and various small shops ranging from wine merchants, bakeries and patisserie among others.
Families are welcome at this apartment (although no pets, please). A travel cot and high chair can be supplied by prior arrangement. There are various park nearby which provide ample play facilities for children.
Parking and transport:
Free private allocated off street parking is available and the apartment is well-served by frequent bus services. A taxi from the city centre costs between £5-10. The apartment is around 20 min walk to both Waverley train station and the bus station, both of which are also reachable by direct bus services. An Airport bus departs at regular intervals from Waverley bridge.

Located on Edinburgh's vibrant Easter Road to the north east of the city centre which is just a short walk from the lush green park of Leith Links and the hip waterfront Shore area.
Edinburgh's historic centre is within easy walking distance of the property, offering popular tourist attractions including Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliament and Castle separated by an array of shops, cafes, restaurants, museums and churches. Days can be spent exploring the closes (alleys) and learning about Scottish culture and heritage. A tour of the underground city also provides an interesting insight into days gone by.
Princes Street and George Street offers a variety of high end retail establishments and particularly George Street a number of upmarket bars and restaurants to suit every taste. The Leith Shore area is wonderful to wander and explore, traditionally a port town it is full of quirky converted bond buildings and has become a hub for fabulous eateries and bars. Ocean Terminal provides a multiplex cinema for some timeout from sightseeing and is home to a number of shops, restaurants and cafes. It also links you to the Royal Yacht Britannia which is moored here and available to tour.
