Valencia is one of Spain's most exciting cities, and is famous for its annual Fallas Festival, held in March. 

This traditional celebration is held in commemoration of Saint Joseph and refers to the towering papier mache figures which are paraded and later burned during the Festival.


Take a trip to Valencia port where you can watch the world go by at one of the sea front cafés, visit the old quarter of town with its quaint shops and traditional pavement cafés.

The Miguelete Tower offers stunning views of central Valencia and dates back to the 1600´s.

Whatever you may think about bullfighting, Valencia bull ring is worth a visit for the architecture alone.  The bullring was built in the mid-19th Century, and bullfights, concerts, festivals and exhibitions are held here throughout the year.

Valencia is also known as a city of arts and is home to a planetarium, an oceanarium and an interactive museum.
