Sa Pobla is situated in the north-east of Mallorca and offers stunning landscapes and a vast range of attractions.
Situated in the district of Raiguer, Sa Pobla is 4km north of Muro, the fertile area which produces the island’s fruit and vegetables. This fertile area of marshes is famous for its windmills and an annual November fair showcases local produce.
Much of this area has been protected as part of s’Albufera Natural Park. This 1,700 hectare park offers cycling and walking trails which wind through the picturesque landscapes.
One of the area’s most unusual fairs takes place each January. The Revelta de Sant Antoni involves pets being led through the town to be blessed at the church, followed by dancing and celebrations.
If you are looking for family fun, drive 20 minutes north-east to the Alcudia Waterpark, where you will find a vast range of slides, rides and pools to suit all age groups and some of the island´s best beaches.
