Located on the western end of Spain’s Costa del Sol, Manilva is quieter than Marbella and Sotogrande and retains much of its original charm.
Bordering Cadiz and Malaga, Manilva offers long sandy beaches along the coast and the old white village, situated 3km inland.
The urbanisations of Sabinillas, Puerto Duquesa and the town of Estepona are located just a few minutes´ drive from Manilva.
Malaga Airport is just under 100km away and Gibraltar Airport is 37km away.
Manilva beaches are some of the best in southern Spain, and remain much less crowded than those in the busier resorts during summer.
The town offers a good choice of beach restaurants and bars. To the west of Sabinillas there is a yachting marina called Puerto Duquesa with its surrounding residential area and golf course.
Some of the most popular golf courses around Manilva include: Sotogrande, Alcaidesa Golf, Almenara, La Duquesa and Doña Julia in Casares.
