Fuengirola is one of the most vibrant seaside resorts on the Costa del Sol and offers visitors a range of attractions.
Having evolved from a tiny fishing village, Fuengirola offers one of the longest sea front promenades in Europe, stretching 8km and lined with bars, restaurants, shops and pavement cafes.
Fuengirola also boasts long, sandy beaches, twice weekly markets on Tuesday and Saturday, live music venues and clubs at night. Fuengirola Port offers a range of water sports, dolphin watching trips and children’s attractions.
If you are based in Fuengirola and you want to explore further, catch the train to Torremolinos, Benalmadena or Malaga from the centre of town.
A tourist ´train´ also runs from the seafront around the town, and local attractions include the Aqua Park, Bioparc Fuengirola and a wide choice of water sports including jet skis, parasailing and the Costa Water Park which is a floating water park in the sea, open throughout summer.
