The stunning old town of Dubrovnik is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers visitors a wealth of historical and cultural attractions.
One of the most beautiful cities in Europe, Dubrovnik offers narrow old streets, packed with restaurants, pavement cafes and shops. The main, pedestrianised thoroughfare is known as Stradun and many of the restaurants nearby specialise in seafood and fish.
No trip to Dubrovnik is complete without a tour of the City Walls, which gives a bird´s eye view of local attractions. The southern walls slope steeply down to the Adriatic, and the views are stunning.
Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector’s Palace, now a history museum.
The Dubrovnik Cable Car will whisk you from just north of the city walls to Mount Srd in just under four minutes. Views from the top are breath-taking.
