A seafaring village with a lively harbour area, Cambrils is a popular holiday resort in the province of Tarragona.
With a choice of spectacular beaches and family attractions, including the El Pescador Park, which covers over 5,000m2 of land and the vibrant seafront promenade, Cambrils offers a wide choice of things to see and do.
Before crossing the promenade, a nearby signal tower, known as the Telegrafo de l’Esquirol was used to establish communication with other parts of the coast via flags and lights.
Cambrils beaches offer golden sand and crystal clear waters. The region boasts nine excellent beaches, many of which have been awarded the Blue Flag for cleanliness and facilities.
Vilafortuny Castle dates back to the 12th century, and is of great historical and cultural interest. The castle is situated between Salou and Cambrils. The Els Aiguamolls Natural Park is a protected area made up of marshes and wetland. The highly complex eco-systems are of great ecological value.
