Benalmadena is divided into three main parts: Arroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena Costa and Benalmadena Pueblo.
The Pueblo is the old part of town where whitewashed houses, cobbled streets and ornate squares attract visitors. Arroyo is a small village within a town with shops, tapas bars and cafes. Benalmadena Costa, as its name would suggest boasts long, sandy beaches, a seafront promenade and beach bars galore.
Benalmadena also offers an award-winning marina which is great for people-watching and night life. You can also book a dolphin trip in the Marina.
With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year, Benalmadena beaches also offer a wide choice of water sports. Numerous golf courses are situated close to the town.
Sea Life in Benalmadena Pueblo is a popular family attraction and Paloma Park is a wide open space with ducks, ponds and bird life just 150m from the beach.
