Balearic Islands

An archipelago of Spain, The Balearic Islands lie in the western Mediterranean, and include Majorca, Ibiza, Minorca and Formentera.

The islands offer a wide choice of attractions  from stunning beaches to world class night life and historical monuments.

Majorca is the largest island in the Balearics, and the beaches of Ca´n Picafort and Cala d´Or attract the jet set. Menorca is much more tranquil and laid back and is a popular holiday destination with families.

Ibiza attracts the clubbing crowd, and is home to Pacha Ibiza and BCM, one of the world's largest clubs. Quieter inland towns offer fincas and farmhouses for rent.

Formentera is a perfect holiday destination if you want to ´get away from it all´ and its 20km of coastline is dotted with small bays and coves.

Offering over 300 average days of sunshine each year, the Balearic Islands are favoured destinations with holidaymakers to Spain.

Each of the islands has a strong personality all of its own and offers a wealth of attractions for all ages.
