About Wireless Festival
One of London’s most popular daytime festivals, Wireless has been one of the capital’s key summer music events since 2005. After stints in Hyde Park and Olympic Park, last year’s two-day event took place in North London’s Finsbury Park. Featuring international superstars such as Kanye West, Calvin Harris and Chase & Status, Wireless is known for bringing the biggest current music acts to the city for one of the summer’s most anticipated line-ups. This festival often sells out so keep your eye on the official website as 2017’s event is set to be one of the biggest yet!
Helpful information about Wireless Festival
Wireless Festival is a two-day music event which takes place in North London’s Finsbury Park. The nearest tube stations to the event are Finsbury Park on the Victoria Line and Manor House on the Piccadilly Line. We would recommend using the Manor House option as it is just as close to the park but is generally a lot quieter than Finsbury Park station. Those travelling via overground should use the Finsbury Park mainline station. If you’re travelling via other means of public transport, check out the Transport for London website for travel information. For tickets and opening time information, keep an eye on the official Wireless Festival website here.
Making the most of Wireless Festival
Under-18s are welcome at Wireless but those under 16 do need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. For safety reasons, please note that children under 5 aren’t permitted entry to the festival. The event is completely open air and so, given the unreliable nature of the good old, British summer, it’s advisable to bring clothing for all weather eventualities. The festival goes on late into the night and so warm clothes are a must.
