About The London Classic Car Show
Now in its third consecutive year, the London Classic Car Show is the perfect event for those who love beautiful vehicles - whether you’re a serious classic car collector or whether you simply love admiring them from afar. Held in East London’s ExCeL Arena, the show features the popular Grand Avenue, a custom-built highway where you’ll see over 60 classic automobiles being put through their paces. You’ll also be treated to specialist seminars and celebrity appearances, with Stirling Moss, Gordon Murray and Ari Vatanen all having attended the show in the past.
Helpful information about The London Classic Car Show
The Classic Car Show is being held in the ExCeL arena in East London’s Royal Victoria Dock. The nearest station to the show’s entrance is the Prince Regent stop on the DLR (Docklands Light Railway). For those travelling by tube, head to Canning Town on the Jubilee line where you can change to get the DLR. Take advantage of discounted tickets by buying them in advance here - prices start at £24 per adult and £18 per child. Our advice is to get to the show early if you’d like to see everything - general admission is from 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday with closing at 5pm on Sunday.
Making the most of The London Classic Car Show
One of the highlights of the Classic Car Show is the Speakers’ Corner, a forum where experts, celebrities and historic car specialists take the floor to share anecdotes and answer your questions. Last year guests were treated to racing stories from Sir Stirling Moss and ‘Flying Finn’ Ari Vatanen while automobile collectors discussed the market’s latest trends with representatives from COYS and Silverstone Auctions. Places at the seminars are limited and entry is on a first-come first-served basis, so we’d advise selecting which seminars you’re interested in and making sure you arrive nice and early.
