Every year in the build up to the 5th March, the people of Cornwall celebrate their own patron saint with Piran’s Day. Celebrated up until the mid-1760’s the festivities have been revived in modern times.
All over Cornwall the Saint Piran’s flag is paraded through the streets. Join in the activities with a series of dances, live music and Cornish pipers, food, drink and historical re-enactments.
For the duration of St Piran’s Day, entrance to the Royal Cornwall Museum is free of charge. Make the most of your visit by exploring the beautiful countryside and sandy beaches.
Advertise your property with Eventful Stays and there is no commission to pay when you receive bookings. We are always looking for houses, flats, B&B’s and other rental accommodations in and around Cornwall.
