Split Carnival

18th February 2018 - 28th February 2018 | Split, Croatia

About Split Carnival

Carnival in Split is a ten-day celebration incorporating traditional processions together with contemporary events which form the Love Carnival Rave. As you’d expect from a European carnival in one of Croatia’s oldest cities, there will be an opening ceremony in the main square, a masked ball and live music set up on a stage on the Riva waterfront. For the dance music lovers, the main event is the electronic festival which features over 35 DJs and 30 hours of music and dancing. Featuring the Love Marathon, Love Train, Love Carnival Rave main event and the Love Boat, the carnival consists of four main parties to keep your feet moving throughout the carnival celebrations.

Making the most of Split Carnival

One of the carnival highlights is the Love Carnival Rave which kicks off at midnight and doesn’t stop until 7am. With 14 DJs playing back to back, there’s more than enough techno to keep you going. One of the highlights is the Love Train - a party train which leaves from Croatian capital Zagreb at 11pm and arrives in Split at 7am after a full eight hours of disco train partying. If you’d rather take to the seas for your carnival celebrations, book a place on the Love Boat which leaves from the Riva waterfront. Last but not least the Love Marathon is a two-stage open-air electronic music event, featuring 20 DJs, and totally free to the public.
