About Rome Christmas Market
With a city filled with many Piazza’s, providing large open spaces for various public events, Rome is a particularly beautiful place to visit during the festive period. The main Christmas market is situated in Piazza Navona, under the squares centre piece of the Egyptian Obelisk and Fontana dei Fiumi. Over 48 stands will provide a selection of decorations and gifts, along with fairground rides and baked goodies. Elsewhere the Arts and Craft Market at Piazza Cinecitta enters its 15th year, where 30 artists showcase their work during the December month. The old wool mill in Natalino at Lanificio also becomes a celebration of Christmas for a huge one day event mid-month.
