Rock en Seine Festival

25th August 2017 - 27th August 2017 | Paris, France

About Rock en Seine Festival

Firmly established as one of the best festivals in France, Rock en Seine is a three-day rock extravaganza which takes place just west of Paris city centre. Set in the beautiful listed gardens of  the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, which were designed by landscaper André Le Nôtre (his other work includes the magnificent castle of Versailles), you’re sure to find somewhere to pitch your tent in this 460-hectare paradise. Attended by 110,000 last year, the festival’s focus is on rock acts - Iggy Pop & Foals played last year and the event has hosted everyone from Pixies to Arctic Monkeys in the past. However, electronic music fans aren’t neglected: The Prodigy and Paul Kalkbrenner are just a couple of the dance acts who have graced Rock en Seine’s stages.

Helpful information about Rock en Seine Festival

Rock en Seine takes place over the last weekend in August in the Domaine National de Saint Cloud. It usually sells out so it’s certainly wise to secure your tickets as early as possible from the official website or from See Tickets or Festicket. To get to the festival, your nearest airports are Charles de Gaulle or Orly. From there, hop on the métro to Boulogne - Pont de St-Cloud station on Line 10. Alternatively, you can get the tram to Parc de St-Cloud. Gates open at 2pm on the Friday and Saturday and at 1pm on the final day and, if you decide you’d rather enjoy the luxury of a nice, warm bed over a tent, the concerts end before the last train home.
