Founded in 1994, the Paris Jazz Festival is a series of jazz concerts held throughout June and July, ensuring a great soundtrack to every Parisian summer! Set in the beautiful surroundings of the Parc Floral de Paris, a colourful botanic garden in the Bois de Vincennes area of the city, there’s certainly something soothing about listening to jazz in the great outdoors. Now attracting over 110,000 visitors annually, its focus is on giving a platform to the emerging French jazz scene. That’s not to way that it doesn’t welcome international performers too - in the past overseas talents such as Manu Dibango and Gregory Porter have graced its stage.
