Nice Carnival

10th February 2018 - 24th February 2018 | Nice, France

About Nice Carnival

The Nice Carnival is an annual festival which takes place every year on the streets of the Promenade des Anglais. The carnival is one of the world’s biggest, attracting over 1 million visitors over the fortnight. This year’s theme is ‘King of Energy’ and 16 floats will make their way up the promenade in a wonderfully colourful procession. There will also be the famous ‘flower battles’ - an amazing display of extravagant flowers adorning the floats and competing for your attention. Participants throw around 100,000 mimosas, roses and daisies out to the waiting crowd. You’ll also witness the stunning Parade of Lights which illuminates the city every evening.
