About the NFL International Series, London

The contact sport of American Football is hugely popular in the USA and has attracted a dedicated following in the UK. As such the NFL (National Football League) have been hosting the NFL International Series in London since 2007. Every year in the month of October teams such as the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets have played at Wembley Stadium. In 2016, Twickenham Stadium successfully hosted games for the first time and will continue to do so. The Jacksonville Jaguars are confirmed as playing all their matches at Wembley, in what is set to be another exciting series.

Both stadiums are in easy access from the main international airports. London Heathrow and Gatwick are both close, offering quick routes into central London. There are three main train and tube stations into Wembley, Twickenham train station is a short walk to the stadium and is also reachable via the London Underground. Ticket prices will be confirmed once available, with prices varying on where in the ground you sit. Individual tickets have been priced in the region of £40 to £105 (plus booking fee). Playing time for a game of American Football is 60 minutes, however allow much longer for stoppages.

Making the most of the NFL International Series

If you are a fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars, they are confirmed as having a contract to play all their games at Wembley Stadium. If you are a neutral Wembley Stadium has the most experience hosting the American Football, while Twickenham offers a special alternative. Check the venues layout to decide which seats you wish to purchase. The NFL has a dedicated fan base so book early as there are only a handful of games each year.
