Mito Settembre Musica

1st September 2017 - 30th September 2017 | Milan, Italy

About Mito Settembre Musica

Spread across locations in both Milan and Turin, the Mito Settembre Musica celebrates 21 days filled with classical music every September.  The first event took place in 2007 with the festival attracting almost 100,000 spectators spread across 70 venues. Whilst there are historical pieces and concerts paying homage to famous names such as Sebastian Bach and Ludwig Van Beethoven, the event takes pride in supporting modern composers.  In 2016 there were a total of 160 concerts. Highlights have included the appearance of the London Symphony Orchestra, along with the MYTH Open Singing event in which 21 separate choirs join forces via a live satellite broadcast.
