East London's Lovebox returns to Victoria Park for another round of all-out partying, throwing up a lineup that spans from house and techno through to hip-hop, R&B and grime.
Attracting both the cool kids and the party cravers, Lovebox is one of the capital's prime summer highlights. Its last edition welcomed the enigmatic and elusive Frank Ocean, Chase & Status, Solange and Jamie xx to Hackney.
And what's more, there's all sorts of extra fun to get involved in away from the music, including the Bump Roller Disco, a vintage fair, body painting and other surprises, before it's time to hit up one of the many afterparties.
Lovebox is a daytime/evening event opening from 12pm to 10.45pm on Friday 14th July and Saturday 15th July. The festival is held in Victoria Park in London’s East End, with the nearest tube stations being Bow Road, Mile End, Stratford and Bethnal Green. Alternatively, you can take the DLR to Bow Church or the overground train to Hackney Wick or Bethnal Green. Check out the TFL website for a detailed journey planner. Early bird tickets are now available here and we’d advise getting them as soon as you can as the event is likely to sell out. Friday tickets are £50.75, Saturday tickets are £50.75 and you can get a full weekend ticket for £83.75.
Lovebox always has a great line-up and so good music all day long is guaranteed. Due to Victoria Park being such a central location, however, the music has to stop at 10.45pm. This doesn’t mean an end to your partying, though, as Lovebox organises after parties across East London, meaning you can carry on dancing until 5am. Previous ‘After Dark’ parties have featured top names including Scuba, Soul Clap and Modeselektor at clubs such as The Laundry in London Fields, Oval Space in Bethnal Green and Village Underground in Shoreditch. Keep an eye on the official website for more details of the 2017 After Dark events.
