About the London International Horse Show

Held at the Olympia Centre in London, the annual championship features a week-long display of horse shows and competitions. Watch some of the finest show jumpers in the world compete at the indoor arena, in one of the UK’s biggest equestrian events. Included during the course of the London International Horse Show will be the world cup of dressage, horse and carriage, speed stakes and much more. The highlights come in the form of the show-jumping, set to feature names such as Olympic champion Ben Maher MBE. Running alongside the horse riding will also be the Kennel Club Dog Agility finals.

Helpful information about the London International Horse Show

All major London airports reach the Olympia Centre, Heathrow is a short bus ride away or Gatwick 30-minutes on the train. Stansted and City Airport are also within easy reach. Sessions are divided into morning, afternoon and evening. Morning only prices are a flat rate of £15, other tickets vary. Adult tickets are between £23 and £68, although seats with limited viewing are available for under £20. The opening times for each session vary, as a rough guide 9am to 12pm for morning, 12pm to 4.30pm afternoon, with evening sessions starting around 6pm. Parking facilities are available, along with dedicated drop off points.

Making the most of the London International Horse Show

The website has a programme of events, so check which day or session you wish to attend. If you are planning to stay the whole day, there are a couple of days that don’t have morning sessions. You can however watch the riders practice in the warm up ring for £15 or enter the shopping village for £10. If you’re staying the whole week book a season ticket at £500 guaranteeing you entry for the duration, along with the best seats in the house. It’s not all about the horses, stay for the dog trials or the Shetland Pony Grand National.
