Taking place once again at central London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts, the London Drone Film Festival is an event showcasing the very best in this emerging artistic discipline. Last year’s successful event featured the best creative films from amongst 250 submissions from 50 nations and was completely sold out. Witness the amazing results that can be achieved in this new form of aerial photography and filmmaking in the categories of Extreme Sports, Landscape Architecture and Selfie, amongst others. Competition judges include actor Javed Khan, CNN drone operator Lewis Whyld and Helicopter Girls co-founder Emma Boswell. If you’re into film and technology, you won’t want to miss this festival!

The film festival takes place at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in The Mall in central London. The nearest tube stations to the ICA are Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus with the entrance to the ICA being located at the bottom of The Duke of York steps.
