The city of Glasgow hosts the annual art fair in the setting of Merchant City’s Old Fruitmarket. There will be a vast selection of artists, galleries and studios displaying a selection of work. The Glasgow Contemporary Art Fair will have pieces to view, as well as the opportunity to purchase and take home. Contributors include local galleries, while also providing independent artists a platform to be recognised. Expect to find beautiful landscapes along with more abstract pieces. Following its involvement in the 2014 commonwealth games, the venue underwent a refurbishment enabling it to host a selection of other cultural events.
