With over 400 shows spread across more than 40 venues, the Glasgow Comedy Festival has become one of the biggest in Europe. With household names from the world of comedy alongside up and coming acts, the festival also prides itself on supporting local talent. Big names such as Frankie Boyle, Al Murray and Reginald D Hunter appear at the Kings Theatre. Shows such as 3 Men and a Tall Lady appear at the Iron Horse Pub. The Scottish Mask & Puppet Centre has Alex the Magician, while the Sloans pay tribute to the likes of Gene Wilder and Robin Williams. The festival is also celebrating its 15th birthday.
