Fantasporto is an international film festival which takes place in the northern Portuguese city of Oporto. The film festival caters for all movie styles but has a particular leaning towards the fantasy genre, hence its name. Created in 1981, the festival is an important event in the city’s cultural scene, incorporating workshops, theatre and street performances within its agenda. The 37th Fantasporto film festival takes place from 24th February to 4th March at Oporto’s Teatro Municipal Rivoli. If you’d like to attend the festival, a good option is the Free-Pass.
