About the British Grand Prix
The British leg of the Formula One (F1) Grand Prix runs from the 6th-8th July 2012 at the home of British motor sport, Silverstone. The race sees cars competing at speeds of up to 220mph and showcases the skills and steely determination of the F1 drivers. The event attracts around 300,000 spectators to the racecourse to watch the action unfold while millions more who aren’t as fortunate in getting tickets for the event watch on their TV’s at home.
