25th November 2017 | ustwo offices, The Tea Building, United Kingdom

Welcome to Experience Haus: A Conversation About Design Following the success of Experience Haus’ first conference in July, we are excited to announce our next conference to be held on Saturday November 25th, 2017, in collaboration with Pixel Pond and ustwo. We’ll be curating some exciting talks and workshops on experience design, product marketing, product design and branding, and we’ve lined up some fantastic speakers – from the BBC, The Economist, Crossrail, and many more. The talks will explore what’s new, different and fun in design. The team at Pixel Pond will also be there throughout the day to offer friendly and informal advice on the industry. We’ll also be partnering up with ustwo to provide and ideal space for the event, which promises to be informative, great for networking and meeting fellow creatives – or just mingling. Who will be speaking? And leading the workshops? So far, the following speakers have been confirmed: Paul Woodley, User Experience Designer, Cyber-Duck Orsola De Marco, Head of Startups, Open Data Institute Denise Law, Head of Strategic Product Development, The Economist Rhiannon Barrington, Design Researcher, BBC Jon White, UX Consultant, Bookatable Duncan Evans, Head of Digital, Crossrail 2 Jill Quick, Digital Marketing Consultant and Trainer, Co-founder The Coloring In Department  There will also be some great interactive workshops on the day, including one hosted by Francesca Sciandra, UX Design Lead and Design Educator. More speakers and workshop details will be added here as we confirm them. Please keep checking back! Who's it for?  Anyone and everyone! We have priced the event to make it super affordable. Our aim is to give people an opportunity to learn, network and meet fellow creatives. Whether you’re a student, graphic designer, product designer, user experience designer, product manager, digital marketer or simply interested in design, there will be something of interest to you! It doesn’t matter if you’re already in the creative industry – even if you’re new to the creative field, or surfing the boundaries, this conference will get you excited. Who are Experience Haus, Pixel Pond and ustwo? Experience Haus is built by a group of passionate designers bringing together people through design. We host creative workshops and courses for the curious – and we also connect students with mentors within the industry. Our philosophy is simple: learn by doing. As our industry is constantly evolving, we’re always looking to learn – which is why we know the value of affordable education. We’re living in a city where the cost of living is high, so our goal is to keep your cost of education low. With the right partnerships, we’re aiming to offer cost-effective courses accessible to everyone. We pair students with startups to provide real-world experience, so they can apply what they’ve learnt to real life projects and real life requirements. The chance to connect with startups can also create exciting opportunities for students – internships, freelance roles or perhaps even a permanent role.
