There have been classic screenings of 2001: A Space Odyssey and Steven Spielberg’s E.T, as well as modern animations such as Finding Dory.  Films by home grown directors, as well as those from all over the world, all compete for a number of EIFF Awards. With the festival utilising the Edinburgh Filmhouse as its base, there are several venues being used across the city. Having recently celebrated its 70th birthday, if you’re visiting Edinburgh this is a must for fans of the big screen.
