Ebor Festival

About the Ebor Festival

The Ebor Festival is a series of horse races at York Racecourse which are billed as the oldest, richest, fastest and most famous races in Britain. This four-day festival is the highlight of an exciting 2017 racing season at York and features the Juddmonte International, considered to be the best race in Britain. Thursday is Ladies Day where there are plenty of top prizes on offer on the Ebor Fashion Lawn for the best-dressed attendees. This exhilarating festival comes to a close in style with York’s oldest race, the Betfred Ebor, which has been thrilling spectators since the 1840s.
