Now in its 35th year, Dance Week Festival is an established event celebrating contemporary dance, movement theatre and mime in venues around Zagreb. Founded in 1982, the festival continues to attract big name choreographers and performers to its line-up and consistently brings together over 500 works for its visitors to enjoy. Previous acclaimed choreographers include Donald Byrd, Nederlands Dans Theater and Rosemary Butcher. In addition to the perfomances, the festival is an important meeting place for discussions, exhibitions and networking sessions which are an integral part of these growing artistic disciplines.
