Enjoy the Festive Season in the UK
I read only the other day that a number of travel companies are seeing people chasing the sun this Festive Season. Who wants to spend hours traveling, tire out at airports, stand in queues for coaches, and drive on the wrong side of the road? It strikes me that they are forgetting all that the UK has to offer at Christmas and the New Year – a wonderful time of year. I can’t think of anything better than taking time with friends and family, relaxing by a log fire, drinking Gluehwein (not very British but scrummy just the same), playing games from childhood, eating mince pies, celebrating with a festive turkey and all the trimmings.
