Sample 10 of the best Tapas Bars in Les Corts, Barcelona

Barcelona

Food is a major part of the Catalan culture and there’s no shortage of tapas bars across Barcelona, the Les Corts region being no different. If it’s traditional Spain that you’re after, here are 10 of the best.

Vinitus

When it comes to tapas then why not start your experience at Vinitus. There’s a varied selection and in particular lots of seafood options. The wine is considered exceptionally good value too.

La Tertulia

The warm and welcoming setting of La Tertulia is just one of its selling points. The brick walls of the historic early 20th century building help create a homely atmosphere. You can enjoy the terrace all year round, a sun trap in the summer and with garden heaters turned on during the colder evenings.

EL Picoteo

The small unassuming front entrance will lead you into El Picoteo. Above the door are the words Cafeteria, Tapas, Cerveceria. It provides exactly that, a café with good tapas and beer. Somewhere to eat alongside the locals.

Fragments Café

Arrive early or reserve a table at Fragments Café, the best seats will be sat out in the terrace a little sun trap. If you’re eating inside, then this is much more of a restaurant than a cafe.

Tapas 24

Just around the corner from Les Corts, but worth taking those extra steps. Tapas 24 is a great place to sample some of Barcelona’s most popular tapas dishes.

Bar Copan

If it’s a coffee and a croissant during the day you’re after then Bar Copan is open for business. In the evening, fancy some tapas and a beer while watching the football, then cheer on your team alongside the locals.

Piscolabis

The spacious layout of Piscolabis has plenty of room for everyone, although it’s still a good idea to book in advance. They’re open all day too, so if you’re off elsewhere in the evening, then why not try the breakfast menu instead.

Suamu

Cheap and cheerful, not only do Suamu serve great tapas but are also known for Spain’s other popular dish, paella.

Zarautz

The chefs at Zarautz combine classic Basque and Catalan dining with modern techniques. Taking the best seasonal produce and transforming it into a delicious selection of small plates.

Moncho’s House

If you’re after quick and friendly service, then Moncho’s House offer more of a fast food experience than that of fine dining. They do however offer a high-end catering service for private functions, showing they can cater for both ends of the market.
