Tales from the Magic Drum
In the courtyard of the Scottish Storytelling Centre, the acclaimed Dougie Mackay hosts “Tales from the Magic Drum” on Saturday 22nd July. Children will be involved in this interactive storytelling, complete with West African drumming and dance.
The Hairy Maclary and Friends Show
They’ve performed all over the world and now Hairy Maclary and Friends are back on tour, with shows on from 3rd August to 20th August at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
Bend it Like Beesley Summer Camp
Spartans Community Football Academy run their summer camp from 17th July to 11th August. If your child is the next Premiership superstar, fancies learning some new skills or just in need of a run around, they will enjoy this professional environment.
Comedy Club 4 Kids
4th August to 27th August, at the Assembly Roxy. Comedy shows for youngsters over the age of 6. These events are tailored to amuse children, while still appealing to a grown-up sense of humour.

In conjunction with the Comedy Club 4 Kids the little ones can try their hand at becoming a hilarious stand-up comedian.
Baby Loves Disco
Spread across various dates in August, Baby Loves Disco takes place at The Jam House. The ultimate family friendly dance party, especially catering for parents and toddlers. In Brighton DJ legend Fatboy Slim took part in the daytime event, so expect something just as special in Edinburgh.
