The Olympic Canoe Slalom takes place from 29th July to 1st August
The Olympic Canoe Slalom event takes place from Sunday 29th July to Wednesday 1st August at Lee Valley White Water Centre in Hertfordshire. 82 athletes take part hoping to win of the four gold medals on offer. The BMX Events are taking place at Olympic Park between 8th and 12th August 2012
The Olympic BMX Event is a relatively new event to the Olympics as it was first introduced in Beijing in 2008. The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th August 2012. The races will take place over outdoor tracks which include jumps, bumps and banked corners. Races last about 40 seconds with eight riders taking part in each heat. During the event there are 18 gold medals to be won.
