Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the Universal City community of the San Fernando Valley region of the city of Los Angeles, California, United States. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world.
There are many ways to get to Universal Studios Hollywood on public transportation, including frequently arriving Metro trains and buses. Get started with the Metro Trip Planner. The new Metro pedestrian bridge, located at the corner of Lankershim and Universal Hollywood Drive, provides safe and easy access from the Universal City Red Line and Bus Stations to their FREE Universal Studios shuttle stop without having to cross any busy intersections. This shuttle service runs 7 days a week, with pick-ups approximately every 10-15 minutes. Shuttle service begins at 7:00 am every morning.
