About Thorpe Park

Located between Staines and Chertsey in Surrey, Thorpe Park is one of the UK’s most popular theme parks, attracting almost 2 million visitors in 2015. It contains a number of thrilling rides for adrenalin-seekers, notably ‘Saw - The Ride’ which has the steepest free-fall drop in the world and the Colossus, a rollercoaster with no less than ten loops. Its most recent additions are the ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ maze and the multi-sensory psychological ride new for 2016: ‘Derren Brown’s Ghost Train’. Designed in the form of an island, Thorpe Park also boasts a number of water-based rides, such as Storm Surge, a spinning ride over water rapids.
