The O2

About The O2

The O2 is one of the UK’s largest and liveliest entertainment centres and plays host to a wide range of music and comedy acts all year round. It houses the world-renowned O2 Arena where you can enjoy top live acts over the coming months, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Andrea Bocelli and Jess Glynne as well as sporting events such as the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.

Originally built to celebrate the last millennium, the venue is located in Greenwich, south east London on the banks of the River Thames. The O2 Arena was subsequently used as a basketball and gymnastics venue during the London 2012 Summer Olympics. It’s now regarded as one of the world’s most popular entertainment venues.

Helpful information about The O2

The nearest tube station is North Greenwich which is just a few minutes’ walk from the venue itself. You can also catch a boat across the Thames from the pier at the London Eye. The O2 is accessible from all London airports and tickets for all events can be purchased from www.theo2.co.uk.
