Palace Of Holyroodhouse


The Palace began life as a monastery in 1128, and in the years to follow has homed Mary, Queen of Scots and a host of successive kings and queens. It’s largely used in its official capacity these days for state ceremonies and official entertaining, including the annual Garden Party.
