Chester Racecourse

Chester Racecourse is one of the oldest horse racing venues in England. Affectionately known as the Roodee, records date back to the early 16th century. The track itself is a flat, 1.8km long course, best suiting horses that are good on the straight.

One of the highlights at Chester Racecourse is the Boodles May Festival, with 3-days of racing including the Chester Cup Day.  There are also a wide range of hospitality packages available to make your visit even more special.

If you’re looking for something other than racing, Chester holds international Polo tournaments. Alternatively, the venue is available for weddings, conferences and other special events.
