Cairngorms National Park

About Cairngorms National Park

Cairngorms National Park, home to the mountain of the same name, is the United Kingdom’s largest national park, which is famously more vast than Luxembourg! The park stretches throughout the East of the Highlands and contains within it three rivers, four of the UK’s five highest mountains and the ancient Caledonian Forest. Its mountains are put to good use by skiers who come from far and wide to traverse its slopes, as do wildlife enthusiasts who revel in the birdwatching and deerstalking opportunities. This outdoor paradise offers plenty to keep the visitor occupied: from all types of snow sports to watersports on its lochs, golfing on its 12 courses or walking and hiking in its remote forests. If that isn’t adventurous enough for you, why not have a go at the Highland Fling Bungee?
