DAY 1 – Arrival in Malaga
Greeted from the airport and taken to La Concepción Botanical Garden on route to Malaga City. There are over 800 species of plants within the tropical paradise.
Transfer to Ronda via a beautiful scenic road connecting the Mediterranean coast and the Serrania mountains.
Check-in at your hotel in Ronda, located on the impressive Tajo gorge.
DAY 2 – Ronda
Trip to the gardens of Casa del Rey Moro: XVIII century mansion. The gardens were constructed in 1912 by Forestier, offering amazing views of the Tajo gorge and surrounding mountains.
Visit to the Palacio de Mondragón: XIV century palace and the residence to the Moorish Kings. This also includes 3 Mudejar courtyards, preserving original stuccowork and mosaics.
Walk along the Alameda del Tajo: a public garden from the XIX century. Representing a selection of mature trees typical in ornamental gardening. Located in the Málaga province, with views looking down upon the famous gorge.
Transfer to Sevilla
Check in to hotel within the Jewish Quarter
DAY 3 – Sevilla
AM – Guided tour of the Royal Alcazar Palace and gardens, Cathedral and the Casa Pilatos (XV century palace and courtyards, with a mix of Mudéjar, Gothic and Renaissance styles)
PM – Free afternoon and evening. Optional activities include the Murillo Gardens, tea at the oldest hotel in Sevilla, Arabian Spa, horse drawn carriage, river cruise, live flamenco show and much more.
DAY 4 – Sevilla and Cordoba
AM: Guided tour of Mª Luisa Parc and the spectacular Plaza de España
Transfer to Córdoba
Lunch in a gourmet marketplace
Private tour of the Alcazar gardens
Walking tour of the popular San Basilio quarter, including the “Patios”, recently declared a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage site.
Visit to the Palacio de Viana: XVII century house
Check-in at your hotel, within the heart of the Jewish quarter.
Night visit to the impressive Mosque
DAY 5 – Hornachuelos Natural Park
Transfer to the natural park of Hornachuelos, 30 km north of Cordoba, including Moratalla Palace and Palacio de Portocarrero.
Transfer back to Cordoba, free afternoon.
Performance of a Spanish Horse show at the Royal Stables.
DAY 6 – Subbetica Natural Park (near Granada)
Stop off at Priego de Córdoba and Finca Olivar la Hoyabuela, including a local gastronomy experience.
Transfer to Granada.
Check-in at your hotel.
Free evening to explore the area.
DAY 7 – Granada
AM – Private tour of Alhambra and Generalife gardens.
Lunch in a “Carmen” garden located in the Albaycin quarter overlooking the Alhambra.
Free afternoon with optional activities including: tea experience, Arabian hamman/spa, shopping, visit to the Cathedral and Royal Chapel.
Free evening. Live flamenco show and dinner in a gipsy cave on the Sacromonte hill can be arranged by request.
DAY 8 – Granada and Departure
AM – visit the tranquil Carmen de los Mártires gardens.
